Join us for our first porch concert - Latin America Soundscapes! Join us for our first ever porch concert - Latin America Soundscapes. Flutist Maria Castillo and her husband, orchestra conductor and cuatro player, Régulo Stabilito bring their love for Latin American Music to New Orleans. Directors of the Latin American Music Initiative (LAMI) Maria and Régulo will share an evening of chamber music from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela, showcasing classical repertoire and traditional music from their home country, Venezuela. Joining them will be oboist and bassoonist Jaren and Ben Atherholt. An evening not to be missed! This event is free and open to the public. Donations greatly appreciated! Latin America Soundscapes could be rescheduled for 6:30 PM Central Time on May 28th due to rain.
