URGENT
Hate to ask this, we love her so much but life happens and this is an urgent matter. I am on borrowed time.
This is Rose, she is a 4 year old, spayed & microchiped, German Shepherd. I have more pictures and videos if requested.
She needs a foster home while her recently separated parents stabilize their living situations.
She is about 85lbs, and has too much energy for her own good. She needs an experienced dog OWNER, FAMILIAR WITH THE BREED, who is able to give her the attention she needs. She thinks she is a 10lb chihuahua, which makes her a "bull in a china shop". She needs to ability to get her energy out.
She is kennel trained and it's a good comfort zone for her. She cannot be left unattended and must be kenneled when not being watched FOR HER OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY because she is very curious and food MOTIVATED (opens cupboards, tears into med bottles ect).
Full disclosure, she can be a HANDFUL at times but she does has basic training, her impulse control needs work... and with the proper outlet for her energy she is very well behaved.
She is extremely sweet, she snuggles and loves being around people and loves other dogs and cats.
She would have too much energy for a home with small children but would thrive with an older child to play with.
In the right situation we would be open to a permanent rehome but at the time a foster situation is what we need at the very least.
I will provide the first 3 months of high quality food, her kennel, bed and bowls.
I am open to questions, so please ask away.
