Description

My name is Chloe and my herding instincts are so strong that I think my human is a sheep! I am shy at first, but very playful when you get to know me. My previous home was neglectful and I need to be socialized and am very curious, but cautious of other humans and animals. My first vet appointment is this Friday, my new person says they will take care of everything for my new family. (Benton Animal Hospital, no re-homing fee) **I am very protective and like to bark at men because they make me nervous. My sheep thinks that since I am a puppy if I find a sweet family who will work with me then I will no longer feel this way.** All jokes aside. I knew that my time with Chloe would be limited after being asked to take care of her, but she's given me a sense of safety and companionship. In return I want her to have the same. As stated she is more nervous with men, but luckily a male friend of mine has been spending time with her and she is quickly warming up. Most of the behaviors her previous owner spoke to me about were not an issue once she was in my home. She's very, very smart and catches on quickly. I've made it a point to give her mostly praise rather than mostly treats because she had to compete with the other dogs in her home for food and affection. I have two cats who she desperately wants to play with, but they're just not interested. If you feel Chloe might be right for your family please contact us. I ask that we are able to make a trip to your home because her previous home was a small apartment and I travel full time in my RV so she needs nice open spaces to run. My area code is based out of Missouri (417). Chloe and Sara
