Radio Station To Host Book Bag Benefit May 22

Press release from WIHS: April 25, 2021 WIHS 104.9 FM is sponsoring a "Book Bag Benefit" on Saturday, May 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the station's studio, located at 1933 South Main Street. For a donation of $10 or more, participants will get an official WIHS bag, which they can fill with inspirational Christian books from the station's archives. "We receive many complimentary books from publishers and authors across the United States. Once we review them, these books don't do any good sitting on shelves or in boxes," says Steve Tuzeneu, General Manager. "We want these helpful resources to get into the hands of people who can be blessed or share them with others who need hope and encouragement." Operated by Connecticut Radio Fellowship, W-I-H-S stands for We're In His Service.
