We forked out over 2 trillion (more I'm sure) for the Afghanistan War, 2 trillion for the virus and maybe another 2 for infrastructure, which really does need repair and modernization. Believe it or not, climate change will require drastic spending in the near future. Money that could have been spent years ago for prevention of future catastrophes has long gone been spent in worthless nothingness such as border walls and trump's lawyers. Now, the costs will be more, and like it or not, they will eventually be paid, one way, or the other. Conserve now...it's called Conservatism, or, the act of being a conservative in a new liberal world where science is our savior.
