So we recently adopted a puppy because we were told it'd be a good fit for a family home to become a service animal, well I'd say not.
This dog would be best in a home without kids and without cats or small animals or chickens. They do good with other dogs however. And he can adjust to cats over time as we've learned.
They are slightly reactive with food being taken out of their mouth and with their feet being touched, they will bite if their nails are clipped without a muzzle.
I will provide a muzzle with the dog along with a dog jacket with him
He needs to be sedated at the vet because of how aggressive he is toward them though he is very food driven and likely easy to train I am just unable to deal with his aggression with my family home with lots of small animals, and chickens!!
He is very loving and snuggly other than the few reactive things and isn't just full on aggressive, he just isn't going to be a good fit for my home since I need room for a puppy to become a service animal!
Nobody has been actually bitten just some growling, he is also scared of brooms.
