compensation: $16-$17 per Hour-DOE employment type: full-time We are a retailer of accent furniture, lighting and home decor seeking an experienced, energetic, detail oriented, organized hands on warehouse/showroom display workers that will work directly with the owners, managers, and a team of warehouse employees regularly. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: - Work with a team of 4 - 5 warehouse staff and assist in showroom set up and design - Must be able to maintain and keep the warehouse and workshop clean and organized - Loading and Unloading trucks and shipping containers -Packing and shipping orders both ground and freight -General cleaning of Warehouse and Showroom -Moving and resetting showrooms regularly -Unload and check in inbound shipments safely and move product as needed -Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area -Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage -Ability to drive a 24' box truck would be great and could pay more for sure. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. Be on your feet for extended periods of time. OTHER REQUIREMENTS -Best to have own car with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, otherwise a reliable way to get to work -Arriving to work on time is a must -Good people and communication skills -Comfortable use of hand tools, including screw gun, drill, hand saws, welding and more. -Some experience with woodworking and power tools a plus -Forklift experience NOT NEEDED/no forklift on site. -Loading furniture into vehicles for retail customers. -Must maintain a friendly attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times. -Woodworking experience a plus and may pay more accordingly -We are open 7 days a week, so you may be scheduled on a weekend. -2 days off each week. This may be in the middle of the week or on weekends of both. HOURS 36-40+ hours per week.
