WATER METER READER: Great source for good, steady, additional monthly income with a flexible work schedule as an independent contractor. National utility billing company is looking for a meter reader for residential water meters who will read meters each month on a route a designed around the reader's home address. The meters to be read are in a radius around Lock Haven, Avis & Jersey Shore, and will require about 3 hours per month, during the first week of each month. Reader will be paid for meter reading time, drive time and mileage. Average compensation will be about $30 per hour. Must be detail oriented, reliable, good and prompt communicator, have an active drivers license, have auto insurance, own a reliable vehicle, have a computer or tablet, and be able to pass a criminal background check. Must also be capable of reading routes every month within an agreed upon time frame.
