We are needing to re-home our malamute, while he's fun loving and goofy and a really happy /playful boy and great with kids and other dogs, he can get territorial around food, with other dogs, that's his downfall, not really a downfall is if you ask me tho. He's also grown up around cats but likes to chase them around the house, He's very smart and listens well, he does not do well around live stock, chickens bunnies horses cows etc. unfortunately we can't keep him, and need to rehome because now that he's gotten around a year he's growing into his full malamute size, right now he stands on all 4s at my hip I'm 5'2", and will get a little bigger. our landlord has said we can't keep him due to his size. It's not the choice we want to make but I'm a fresh from the service veteran and can't afford to move, and with a family of 5 what we could afford to move into would be to small unfortunately. He does bark and talk like a husky he loves to howl as most malamutes huskies and wolves do. We are asking for a rehoming fee. He'll come with his nighttime kennel food and toys and harness. he is completely up to date on his vaccinations fixed and microchipped as well.
