Seek Lead Guitarist and/or Other Instrumentalist, Bassist, Singers!

We're singing acoustic rhythm and beats looking for lead guitar and/or other lead instrument (violin, keys, harmonica, etc.) and bass player plus singers from the greater northeast Akron area to help fill out our sound. (Geography matters: Please be no further north than I-80, nor south of Route 224, and no further west than Route 21 nor east of Route 44. We're centered among those boundaries.) We've got a long list of songs we cover (not tribute) from what many would call the acoustic era of decades past, when creative famous performers from America to Neil Young held sway with catchy lyrics and melodies. CSNY, Dylan, Eagles, Petty, Simon, and others are among those, as well. (If you're not sure what they're famous for in terms of songs, please take a listen to some of their material on Youtube and/or elsewhere before getting in touch.) Original tunes, too, are part of our project, and we can provide sheets and sound files once we're all on board. Over time, we'd try hard to work in your favorite covers and originals if they fit the general song types, as long as you can provide same--just please first be willing to tackle a set or two of ours while we're trying that on our own with your choices. Some call it "acoustic rock," others say it's essentially folk rock and country rock, and sure, there's a bit of blues-type tunes, too. It's a labor of love (paid bookings, sure, but Music rules all along the way). It calls for maturity and patience. You don't have to be an "old soul" agewise, but surely in spirit. We're not too concerned about when we get out there gigging, just that when we do we're all ready to entertain and have fun doing it!
