Until some technology is discovered that presently doesn't exist you better keep coal, oil and gas plentifully available for energy needs because your uneducated condescending HOT AIR won't get the job done! Well now those of us considered socially liberal appreciate your concern for our lack of energy knowledge. Gee, I didn't know that coal was that good. Doesn't seem so from the pollution spewed when burnt (ever been to China?) and the number of people who die either from the act of mining or the diseases that come from it. It's obvious you're talking out of your ass because if you'd been to China (who gets it according to you) the first thing you notice is the permanent smog found in places like Bejing and Shanghai. Where does that smog come from? From burning coal. Oh and the orange moon is a nice reminder of what's between you and the moon. But thanks for making it simple. You know what else is cheap? Even cheaper than coal? And doesn't spew carbon monoxide? Solar power! Who knew? Renewable. Cheap. A better alternative to coal/gas. Wow, what a concept. So either you own stock in a coal mining operation or are just stupid. I'm betting on the latter. And I didn't know there was a learning curve based on your political leanings. If so, how do people who align themselves with the "Christian" party allow a liar and deceiver to lead them? Seems pretty stupid to me but then again, I'm socially liberal. I'll try to make it real simple, for the liberals in the room; Energy = Production = $$$$$ --- You can use energy to run a manufacturing industry and make money. The cheaper the energy and the more you can reduce costs on labor and other things, the more profits you can make. China gets this. Liberals don't. Liberal fossil-fuel haters have shut down our coal fired power plants, which have been around for 150 years and produce the cheapest electricity. So, America has had to come up with 'alternative' energy sources, which are a lot more expensive and not as reliable. China sees this happening. China is building NEW coal-fired power plants at a tremendous rate, because 1) they work, and 2) they are cheap. Cheap energy that can be used to manufacture goods is China's biggest weapon in the race to become the world's #1 economy. American Liberals are willing to sacrifice our economic status, in order to do what? Clean up the air ? That's NOT going to happen, as long as China and India continue to pollute as much as they want to !! Nobody is even trying to stop them !!! The other day, Joe Biden's administration asked China to reduce their emissions and China politely said "That is not realistic". American Liberals are willing to KILL American jobs and our economy, in their fight against fossil fuels. China has embraced fossil fuels, as their ticket to creating a world-leading economy. The choice is pretty clear, either try to remain the world's greatest superpower, or relinquish the title to China.
