We are a busy and growing local automotive transmission repair shop looking for 1 full-time automotive mechanic/R&R (remove and reinstall transmissions) to join our team and start immediately. This is not an entry level position, you must have at least 5 years of automotive mechanical experience and a very strong work ethic. Check out our website for more information about our company - www.lasvegastransmissionco.com RESPONSIBILITIES - Primary task: R&R (removal and reinstallation) of Transmissions in Cars, Trucks, & SUVs (mostly domestic) - Auto Repair and strong knowledge of diagnostics, oil changes, brakes, fuel pumps, A/C, seals & gaskets, diesel repair, radiators, drivelines, transfer cases, axles etc. - Operating vehicle lifts - Cleaning and organizing the shop during downtime REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 5 years of auto mechanic experience in auto shop - Must have your own tools - Must have a very strong work ethic - Punctual - shows up to work on-time every day - Drug free / no alcohol abuse - NO exceptions - Positive attitude and solution oriented - Very organized and clean - Focused & career driven - Your own transportation - Must work well with others BENEFITS - Guaranteed weekly pay (40 hours per week, hourly rate depends on experience and will increase over time).
