Save Jackson Park - Relocate the Obama Center! Join members of the Daniel Burnham Brigade, along with members of Protect Our Parks, as we tie ribbons to the 1,000 trees scheduled for removal, to make way for the Obama Center. Saturday, June 12, noon until 4, meet at the running track, 6100 South on Stony Island. We support an Obama Center on the Southside, but this Natural, Lakefront Park Must be Preserved. Numerous locations, in the City, are available. This is an opportunity for Nature enthusiasts, ecologists, Park Preservationists, those who love this Park and want to Preserve it, to Come Out, and show your support for this Historic, Natural Park.
