I'm needing to re-home my blue mask lovebird. I have had her since she was 10 weeks and she just turned 4 on March 14th. She is incredibly sweet and absolutely loves out of her cage attention time. She says a few things and does a ton of funny mimicking. She loves new toys and loves attention. She does well with my husband, but is mostly attached to me as I do all the feeding etc and give her the most attention. She will show cage aggression when changing her food or water so just let her out to fly when doing this. No one else can, but I can grab her right out with no issues. She will probably bond the same to whoever spends the most time with her and gives her the most attention. She would do well in a home that let her out of her cage everyday to fly and that gave her attention. I feed her a mostly pelleted diet of plain & fruit zupreem with hay and seed for her to forage for. She hates when I paint my nails any color, particularly anything bright; pinks & reds, so be aware of that. I am not in a rush to rehome her, Please contact via email with any questions. She comes with her tall medium vision bird cage, small vision for outdoor or travel, too many toys and perches to count, cage cover (only for at night), UVA full spectrum sun lamp and bulbs, food, oats, hay, table top perch, etc. She has everything she needs. * She does not like birds of other species and will attack them. If you already have a different kind of bird, you will not be able to keep them out at once. I'd like her to go to a forever home and not turned around to be re-homed again if this became an issue, so please keep that in mind. She will also attack my boxer dog (my boxer runs away and wouldn't hurt a fly) but also, keep that in mind depending on other pets you have. She shows zero aggression like that to people, just other pets.
