Dog Daycare Playroom Attendant / Canine Coach -Local Applicants Only- Bring your dog to work? That's right! Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic and organized individual to be the star of our playroom as a Canine Coach. Extensive training is provided for this position. This is a great opportunity to work in the pet care industry. The successful candidate must love dogs of all breeds, be strong willed and able to "own" a room of dogs using only positive reinforcement techniques. They must show initiative, be willing to get dirty cleaning up after dogs, be able to handle pressure in a fast paced environment and keep the daycare spotless. This is a fun yet physically and mentally demanding role. Canine Coaches must be both a great teammate and be eager to complete all job duties expeditiously and safely. This position entails starting at approximately 20+ hours per week. We are open 7 days per week / 365 days per year and the candidate will be expected to work a variety of weekdays, weekends and holidays. Excellent attitude, punctuality and attendance are a must. Pursuing a certificate or degree in animal or pet care services or other field and/or prior experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidates.
