LOCATION: We are looking for motivated hard working individuals to join the team out of our facility in Compton CA. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday PART TIME: working evenings 4-5 hour shifts 3pm-7pm or 7pm-11:30pm FULL TIME: 3pm- 11:30pm REPORTS TO: Operations Manager. ON THE JOB: Parcel Sorting facility - Sorting USPS packages. *Assist with shipping and receiving, including verifying the counts of materials. *Physically move/ transport product to the processing area and ensure it is done in a damage free manner. *Scan label bar codes using a computer and scanner. *Sort and place products within the specified area by visually matching the sort code. *Prepare bags and pallets for shipment including verification of shipment counts. *Report any damage materials to the supervisor immediately. *Follow safety guidelines in a clean work environment. *Consistent warehouse organization and work area for orderliness. *Report to work at all scheduled times. *Interface with other employees and independent contractors on a regular basis. *Perform other work-related duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS: *Use of hands and fingers to grip, handle, lift, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. *Lift and/or move product up to and including 50lbs. *Stand and walk for long periods of time. *Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus QUALIFICATIONS TO SUCCEED AT ACI: *DRUG FREE WORKPLACE - a contingent pre-employment drug screen will be required. (company paid testing) *Must be able to pass a background check. *Excellent attention to detail! - Ability to read English - bilingual preferred but not required *1-2 years previous logistics/ warehouse experience - preferred but not required *Ability to differentiate between colors (green, yellow, red, blue) *Good communication, organizational, and time management skills *Attendance - Must be dependable and Reliable. *Must be familiar with scanners control system and computer literacy - required APPLY NOW!
