Flux Fitness and Recovery believes in living a balanced lifestyle. Why put in all the work if you can't have any fun? Join us as we lead one of our favorite things to do in Houston. We'll be leading a bike tour of some of Houston's best breweries all accessible by the many bike trails we are lucky enough to have access to in this city.
We will be leading three loops that will take you to up to 10 breweries. You don't have to drink at them all. In fact, we definitely recommend taking a few off to rehydrate, especially if you plan to stop at all 10. Make sure you have a big breakfast. Most breweries have some sort of food option along the way. Our favorites for food are Local Group, Platypus and 8th Wonder.
We will be offering three loop options. The loops will all start and end at Flux Fitness and Recovery. However, you can meet up with us or leave at any point. Loops 1 and 2 will give you more time to socialize at each stop. Loop 3 will be the longest so we will have to move a bit faster to make all the stops. 80-90% of the ride will be on trails, however we do occasionally have to ride city streets . Wear a helmet and make sure you have all the proper safety accessories on your bikes.
Loop 1: Approximately 7 miles, 4 breweries- St. Arnold's, Local Group, Urban South, City Orchard Cider
Loop 2: Approximately 8 miles, 7 breweries- St. Arnold's, Local Group, Urban South, City Orchard Cider, Buffalo Bayou, Holler, Platypus
Loop 3: Approximately 11 miles, 10 breweries- St. Arnolds's, Local Group, Urban South, City Orchard Cider, Buffalo Bayou, Holler, Platypus, True Anomaly, 8th Wonder, Equal Parts
