Description

Summer of Synergy : An Ayurveda Workshop with Jackie DeConti Ayurveda originates from a loving lineage of wisdom aligned with the cyclical rhythms of nature. This ancient system of science + art provides a lens with which to see the world. Ayurveda’s motherlike energy is both nourishing and supportive. It addresses the whole person - physically, emotionally, and spiritually , focusing on what’s not broken and what doesn’t need healing. It encompasses the whole, while considering the roots. Though trusting the body’s intelligence, Ayurveda cultivates the awakening of vibrant health through sustainable and simple habits to increase the longevity and quality of life. This workshop begins on the mat- tuning into breath and gently flowing through a few sweet sun salutations. Once in savasana, participants will be led through guided body yantra meditation followed by a journaling reflection session. Jackie will lead a conversation on Ayurveda including seasonal shifts that encourage staying cool and full of vitality during the summer months. Participants will create an intention-infused summer sugar scrub. The gathering will close with a relaxing abhyanga self-oiling practice. **Please bring a yoga mat and a mug (for tea). Upon registering, please inform Terra Sol if you have any food allergies or sensitivities. There is a minimum of 3 participants needed for this workshop. a little bit about the host: Jackie DeConti is a certified yoga instructor and Ayurvedic wellness coach.
