By Joan Murray, CBS Miami April 24, 2021 An undercover Plantation police officer and a suspected drug dealer was shot during a drug enforcement sting operation Friday afternoon in the parking lot of the Bass Pro Shop in Dania Beach. According to Miami DEA spokesperson Anne-Judith Lambert, the shooting happened during a joint operation of the DEA Miami office and the Broward Sheriff's Office. She says when officers were trying to arrest their suspect, he opened fire.
