EAST HARLEM, NY — Police this week asked for help finding a man accused of shooting another man in a random East Harlem attack last month.
The shooting happened just after midnight on March 24, near East 116th Street between Park and Lexington avenues.
The victim, a 24-year-old man, was approached by another man he did not know who flashed a gun and then shot him four times in the buttocks and thigh, according to police.
The man lost feeling in his legs and was brought to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in stable condition, police said.
On Friday, police released surveillance footage showing the suspect and asked for help identifying him.
