Fogline Farm is looking for an individual to drive a non-CDL, 26' International flatbed, from the Ano Nuevo Peninsula area to Modesto and back every Tuesday morning. Ano Nuevo is between Davenport and Pescadero on the coast. The truck will be fully loaded with live birds in welfare approved crates for transportation to the processing facility. Responsibilities include: - leaving the farm at 2am, arriving to the processing facility in Modesto by 4:45am - unstrapping the straps, waiting 1-2 hours for the chicken modules to be unloaded by forklift and then reloaded when empty - strapping them back down, and driving back to the farm. Must have: - drivers license - perfect driving record - be able to lift 50 lbs - CDL or interest in getting a CDL is a plus Fogline Farm is a small pasture-raised poultry farm. Fogline is based in Santa Cruz and the farm is up the coast at Ano Nuevo. Fogline is a growing business and there are opportunities for more shifts if interested, but not necessary. These shifts would include a delivery route, farmers market work, kitchen production assistant, and some help on the farm.
