Creative Former Teacher Seeking a Nanny Position

Hi! My name is AH (they/them) and I am returning to Chicago soon, after completing my graduate degree in art therapy and clinical mental health counseling. I am a former Chicago Public Schools K-8 art teacher and I have been working in early childhood education for the past 2 1/2 years. I love working with children. Studying mental health has added to my knowledge of attachment and brain development, and it's inspiring to see it in action. Due to my previous experiences, I am also knowledgeable in behavior management and shifting behavior in a neutral and nurturing way. I also enjoy having fun, being physically active and getting creative. Open communication with other adults is very important to me, and I hope to find a situation with lots of trust and transparency. I am most experienced working with young ones ages 18 months and up. I have my own SUV and a clean driving record. I am available to start working beginning in early July and my availability will be mornings and early afternoons M-F and anytime on weekends. I am open to any locations central to the Chicago area, preferably in the city and seeking $28+ per hour pay. I have been working in-person during the pandemic so I am very COVID-conscious, wear a mask at all times and I am fully vaccinated. I have Celiac disease, so I will not be able to do activities with wheat flour. A family who eats gluten-free would be a great fit but not necessary as I can wear gloves while serving some foods.
