PHILADELPHIA — Air quality in southeastern Pennsylvania is pretty decent, according to the American Lung Association's annual State Of The Air report The report, released Wednesday, found that the Philadelphia-Reading-Camden metro area is the 17th-most polluted city in the country for its year-round average levels of fine particle pollution. Despite earning an F for ozone levels, the region earned an A for its 24-hour particle pollution, giving it a passing grade overall. The Philadelphia metro area ranked 21st out of 229 metro areas for days with high levels of ozone. Ozone and particle pollution are the nation's most widespread air pollutants and both can be deadly, according to the lung association. See the entire State Of The Air report here.
