1 year old Dachshund -needs a new home

Red male standard Standard Dachshund 1 year and 3 months old. We got him when he was 7 months old. Already potty trained. We thought we had time and space to give him but just are not able to. He’s 19.5 lbs, extremely healthy, I can provide current Vet information. He’s ver loving and loyal. He gets along great with us and warms up to people friends when they come over a time or two. Not great with other dogs. We will not allow him to go to another home that has dogs. We do not know how he is with small children. Seems shy of them on our daily walks. There is no rehoming fee. We will be VERY thorough on who gets him. We will want verification of living situation, time he’s able to be with you, and verification of Vet. We do not have to rehome him, but it would be best if there is a great situation. And will only happen if there is a better situation than with us. Text only on first contact. Do not call.
