Seeking Singer for Acoustic Duo

Hello, I'm looking for a vocalist for for an acoustic duo/singer-songwriter style of project. Ive been playing guitar since I was 16 and I've always dug acoustic music and stripped down versions of songs. I like making the most out of the bare elements. I'm leaning toward groups like this wild life, wind in sails, the Civil wars just to list a few. I'd really like to get down to writing some songs, working on covers and hitting some open mics. And if it can go further then that's cool too. Im not looking for any hired guns, this is a love of the game thing for me. Male or female vocalists are welcome and in case it matters, im 30.
