Description

Press release from the Carlsbad Unified School District: April 23, 2021 Dear CUSD Families, We appreciate your ongoing partnership and support during this unique school year. We wanted to update you on our school and health office protocols. Here is the most current COVID-19 Decision Tree from Health and Human Service which school districts are required to follow when staff or students develop any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. This document is regularly updated based on the most current information. The COVID-19 Decision Tree outlines when staff or students may return to campus after they have developed any signs or symptoms associated with COVID-19 and information on quarantining if an individual has been exposed to COVID-19. Please review the document for specific guidelines. CUSD will continue to follow the Decision Tree for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year. In addition, face coverings are required for all staff, students, and visitors when they are on a school campus. This includes when dropping off students, visiting the office, or picking up students at the end of the day. Thank you for your support and understanding.
