Description
I take in surrendered reptiles
I have space for:
Geckos of all varieties
Skinks
Most lizards
Chameleons
Frogs
Salamanders
Axolotls
King snakes, coral snakes, milk snakes.
And more(ask, worst I can do is say no, but I can also direct you towards others)
About-
I accept surrendered reptiles and amphibians, I give them a home and very rarely(almost never) find them other homes- 95% of the time they come here to live out the rest of their life. I’ve dedicated multiple rooms in my house to reptile and amphibian care.
When a new surrender comes into my home they are quarantined. If they come with an enclosure that is suitable, I clean it and keep them in there, if they do not, I have quarantine enclosures. Once they’re cleared from quarantine I move them to a custom set up bioactive enclosure suited to their individual needs.
I also accept donated supplies(I will consider low cost front opening enclosures) including:
Front opening enclosures
Plants(live only)
Driftwood
Hides
Lights/heat lamps
Foggers/humidifiers
Bowls
Moss(unused)
Natural substrates (no “carpets”, NO SAND. Unused only)
UNOPENED Pangea (any variety, any size)
Critter carriers of all sizes
Will consider things like the Zilla “micro habitat” since I use them for hatchling quarantine.
*** I currently do not have space for iguanas, anacondas, reticulated pythons, or other LARGE reptiles that require a massive amount of space dedicated to an individual animal. No venomous or illegal animals will be accepted.
