Ground Person - Immediate Need - 1 week position

Tower Painters Inc. works seasonally during the summer with winters off; often working 6 days a week, 8 to 9 hours per day. This is a temporary 1 week position with the possibility of staying on with the company. The Ground Person sets up equipment, prepares the steel with various tools including high speed grinders with wire wheels, scrappers, grease removers, sanders, primes bare or prepared steel. The Ground Person lifts and moves paint cans and equipment up to and sometimes more than 50 pounds. Steel surface preparation, job site cleanup The Ground Person understands and follows all safety rules and methods, suggests safer methods of work when appropriate, and is conscious of the safety of other workers or anyone else present on the job site. This is a temporary job 2-3 weeks at Cal Expo in Sacramento with the possibility of continued work with Tower Painters Inc. Applicant must be able to travel. Accommodations provided if necessary.
