He was a very sweet boy, too sweet for his own good and a little piggy which could have made him easy to trap.Today I found out that some M.F.P.O.S. has been trapping cats from Moanalua Valley and dumping them all over the island. Several people have been lucky enough to have been contacted by HHS and gotten their pets back. But a cat in Moanalua Valley would not "walk" to Kailua or Ewa Beach. So someone is catching pets and "getting rid of them." Guess we should be grateful this person is not killing them.No matter the area you live in, please be on the look out for Gus. He's very friendly and always hungry. Also very thirsty due to kidney disease and he had a respiratory infection at the time of his abduction. He needed antibiotics, so I pray he is still alive. Also, he has no teeth so will not be able to hunt, he needs to be fed so may be in a colony or may have found a kind person to take him in.I am not his original owner. When he came to us over 17 months ago I took him to VCA and filled out a found pet report complete with microchip number that was faxed to HHS. I recently found his owner, she said no one contacted her. So I do not know if HHS dropped the ball or her contact info is not up to date. She said she would transfer him to me, but I never heard back from her so I do not know if this has happened or not. He was getting medical treatment from PetVet in Salt Lake, so if you find him and would like to take him there they can scan him and contact me. Please, any information on his whereabouts would be appreciated. Thanks!
