Iron Range-based Beverage (Beer & Soda) Distributor seeking qualified applicants for Full-Time Position for candidates with CDL Class A or Class B license, or a CDL Permit. Refer to Indeed job posting for online application/details: Summary: Driver/ delivery person with a Class A or Class B license and pay range of $18 to $23/hour, plus overtime, depending on qualifications and experience. Position requires a clean driving record; a positive, customer friendly attitude; and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast paced environment. Job Duties: Primary job duties include loading/unloading trucks and delivering/rotating/merchandising product at retail customer locations throughout the Iron Range. Warehouse work prepping orders and assisting with forklift duties may also be required. Other duties as specified/required. Minimum qualifications: clean driving record, clean criminal record, valid Driver license, drug-free, ability to lift up to 170 lbs on a regular basis throughout the day. Applicants should not consider this to be a traditional truck driving job. This is a delivery job that requires the employee to be physically capable of consistently loading and unloading beverage packages, containers, and kegs consistently throughout the entire day. The ability to operate/drive the truck with a CDL license is preferred. DOT Certified or Certifiable. *Note*: We are willing to consider applicants that do have their CDL permit, so long as they are able to obtain their license in a short timeframe. Preferred qualifications: CDL Class A, CDL Class B, Air-brake endorsement, 6+ months driving experience, delivery experience (specifically beverages). Skills desired: positive attitude, strong work ethic, customer oriented, and effective communication skills. The ability to perform these skills while also being able to efficiently and safely handle the physical portion of the job is extremely important. Local truck driver delivery routes may include deliveries to Virginia, Eveleth, Gilbert, Biwabik, Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Babbitt, Embarrass, Mt Iron, Buhl, Chisholm, Hibbing, Nashwauk, Keewatin, Grand Rapids, Deer River, Cass Lake, Britt, Cook, Orr, International Falls, Tower, and Ely.
