Monday-Friday. 7:30am – 4pm. We design, install & maintain beautiful coastal gardens Little Compton, RI and Westport, MA. We have long-standing relationships with our valued clients and their gardens, and we are seeking an experienced gardener or someone with a sincere interest in learning about horticultural. This is a physical job: candidate must be able to lift 40 pound containers/soil amendments, perform repetitive tasks (digging, weeding, deadheading, staking) with consistent quality, and manage long-handled tools and wheelbarrows (turning beds, amending soil, planting, mulching). This is also a social position: candidate must be able to communicate with clients and to work cooperatively within a small team. Some knowledge of plants and horticultural practice is desirable, and a desire to learn is essential. Candidate must be prompt, work efficiently, and pay keen attention to detail. Full and part-time positions are available. Pay is commensurate with experience.
