Small home residential construction company currently seeking a helper. Job may start out part time for a short while but is expected to become full-time as a couple of big projects begin. Construction experience is not required, but a strong desire to learn a trade is necessary. Applicant must be reliable, fun to work with, and nice to everybody including co-workers, customers, people who are different from you, the earth itself, and the boss. Must be able to lift 80 pound bags of concrete and sheets of 3/4" plywood. We are a company that strives to be as green as possible, so candidate must see value in reuse, recycling, insulation, non-toxic materials, etc. Bonus points if you ride a bike. Must be fluent in either English or Spanish but both is better. Proximity to Mt. Rainier, Maryland is a plus. Starting pay is $20 per hour. New hire will start as an hourly contractor but employeeship or part ownership are both possibilities down the road. Don't send me a resume.
