Entertainment Earth is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant! The Facilities Maintenance role is managed directly by Warehouse and Facilities Management and is responsible for performing all general maintenance duties in supporting the Warehouse department and assisting the Facilities team with their tasks. What we are looking for: Work according to safety standards set by the Company, state, and federal regulations. Report unsafe equipment, tools, machines, and practices to management. As directed by the Maintenance Facilities Lead, clean, repair and upkeep of facility and equipment, maintaining the efficiency and good working condition of facility and equipment. Performs a variety of semi-skilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, or drywalling. General cleaning duties including sweeping, use of floor scrubber, disposal of trash, and baling of cardboard for recycling. Preparation of common-use rooms (i.e. kitchen, meeting rooms) to ensure rooms are clean, in good order, and equipment is functioning. Assist in preparation for meetings as requested (i.e. Company Staff Meeting). Recommend improvements to forms, checklists, policies and procedures with Management regarding safety, access, signage, elimination of waste. Clear communication and understanding of workload at all times. Overall organization and maintenance of storage of merchandise to allow for efficient operations. What you must have: High school or equivalent 1 year of building maintenance in addition to basic knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry (Preferred) Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
