Company Info: Avex is the largest and busiest Socata-authorized distributor. We provide specialized maintenance on the Socata TBM series aircraft. Our workshop regularly maintains roughly 150 TBM aircraft. Avex is a Part 145 FAA Approved Repair Station X1IR595Y. Job Title: Aircraft Detailer Location: Camarillo CA Salary: $15-16/hr Job description: Seeking a full time Aircraft Detailer to work at busy repair center. You will also be maintaining our equipment, using a tug to move aircraft, and keeping the hangar clean and tidy. We often work long hours starting at 6am. MANDATORY requirements: • Must be physically fit to wax/polish/detail aircraft • Detail oriented • Self Motivated • Ability to follow directions • Able to work with care • Have a current Class C driver’s license • Must provide DMV record showing no violations and no DUI’s. • Needs to pass drug test and will be subject to random drug testing • Team player skills needed • Must live locally PREFERRED Qualifications: • Experience marshaling aircraft • Experience with towing aircraft • Forklift Certified • Be mechanically inclined • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal Position is full time with competitive wages, medical and dental benefits, 401K, quarterly bonus & 16 days PTO/year.
