The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Asphalt Paver Operator to work at our Colorado Springs location. The Asphalt Paver Operator performs all functions related to operating an asphalt paver. We are a unique, 100-year-old family-owned company that transforms our recycled products into construction materials, lightweight aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, agricultural products, and more. We provide steel mill services, flame cutting and treatment, road building, logistics, laboratory testing, and a variety of other solutions for our customers. Responsibilities The Asphalt Pavert Operator will: Comply with all safety regulations, policies and record keeping Ensures asphalt mat is being laid properly Installs grade and elevations correctly Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling and fueling Meet customer service expectations Skills The ideal candidate will have: Experience operating a paver (Minimum 3 years) Ability to lift up to 50lbs Basic Mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of bulk materials Good verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
