The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Asphalt Paver Screed Operator to work at our Colorado Springs location. The Asphalt Paver Screed Operator performs all functions as it pertains to the depth, slope and width of asphalt laid We are a unique, 100-year-old family-owned company that transforms our recycled products into construction materials, lightweight aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, agricultural products, and more. We provide steel mill services, flame cutting and treatment, road building, logistics, laboratory testing, and a variety of other solutions for our customers. Responsibilities The Asphalt Paver Screed Operator will: Comply with all safety regulations, policies and record keeping Places asphalt at the correct grade and slope, according to job specifications. Installs grade and elevation correctly Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling and fueling Meet customer service expectations Skills The ideal candidate will have: Ability to read stakes and check grades Minimum 3 years of paving experience Ability to lift up to 50lbs Basic Mechanical aptitude. Good verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
