Grieving, Confused Cat. This is Senpai. For about six and a half years, he's been an equal, cherished family member, and is the best friend I've ever had. On April 3, a nearby cat, with whom Senpai hung out for at least three and a half years, passed away. They were good friends. Since, Senpai has been very distraught, and and increasingly scarce. I know that Senpai is grieving and confused, wondering why his friend suddenly disappeared, and he is likely seeking answers, and possibly something to fill that void. I'm in regular contact with Senpai's friend's human, and have been informed that he has been hanging around more than previously, waiting for his friend. However, I've been informed that he's been spending only a mere fraction of his time out and about at that location. Since his friend passed away, on at least one occasion, he's returned with fishy-smelling breath. He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, well-fed with a premium, home-made diet, tailored to his needs, and well-loved. His recent scarcity is very distressing.
