To apply, visit hy-vee.com/careers & select "Cherokee DC" or go here: SHORT INFORMATIONAL VIDEO ON RELOCATION PROGRAM: VIDEO WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE WAREHOUSE GENERALIST POSITIONS: The Hy-Vee Distribution Center in Cherokee, Iowa has Warehouse Generalist 1 openings on both mornings as well as overnights starting at $21 / hour, $22.56 at 8 weeks + incentive pay of up to 10% & quarterly bonuses. This is an extremely physically demanding position which requires working on your feet at a quick pace and heavy, repetitive lifting. PERKS: -$1 / hour overnight premium for employees on 3rd shift -Rotating weekends off (once every 3 weeks if you are not already scheduled off on weekends) -Quarterly Bonuses, eligibility for annual pay increases, & incentive pay of up to 10% -4 10’s schedules available for full-time employees on the overnight shift (3 days off per week!) -10% discount on store purchases and 10 cents off per gallon on fuel -Full benefits package including matching 401K, tuition reimbursement, etc. -Paid time off starting on day 1 Requirements: -Weekend availability -Must be able to work in an extremely physically demanding position which required rigorous, repetitive lifting of 25-75 pounds and walking 8-10 hours on concrete floors. -Must pass post offer pre-employment fitness test, hearing, and drug screen (THC excluded) -Warehouse experience or experience in other highly fast-paced and physically demanding jobs is strongly preferred Duties: -Selects product from an order request in a timely manner -Operate power equipment -Responsible for building pallets of orders efficiently and safely, stacking boxes that may weigh up to 75 pounds each -Operate power equipment such as electric pallet jack, stock picker, etc. (training provided) APPLY HERE: Here is how the Relocation Program works for candidates who move ANYWHERE WITHIN 42 MILES of our warehouse in Cherokee, IA.
