Dance Performances; Raices Mexicanas de Detroit is the
oldest, continuously active Mexican Folkloric Dance Troupe
in the Southeast Michigan area, preserving and showcasing
the magnificence of Mexican Folklorico dance, tradition and
culture.
- 4:30p–5p: Detroit Dance Loft - Salsa & Cumbia Dance
Performances, Lessons; Detroit Dance Loft will perform, and
teach attendees, in both Salsa and Cumbia dance, led by
Marc Brewer, celebrated Afro-Latin dance instructor,
performer and competitive dance champion.
- 5:30p-6:15p: Grupo Escobar - Live Band Performance;
Salsa, Timba and Cumbia from Detroit’s own Groupo Escobar.
