Seeking an outgoing, fun, and hardworking shop assistant for local surf shop! Aloha! Are you looking for a fun, fast paced job with great fringe benefits? Then come to work in your flip flops for a Surf Shop in Virginia Beach! We offer Paid training and P/T hours to start with the possibility of full time hours. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of year round employment. Free Surf, Paddleboard, Kayak lessons & rentals, along with employee discounts in the shop as well. Knowledge in the following is a plus but not required. - Surfboards, Fins, and surf equipment - Surfing Laws - Stand Up Paddleboards, Paddles, & SUP equipment - Other related water sports This position will be responsible for assisting our customers with rentals, sales, equipment deliveries & general shop duties. Must have a cell phone and a valid driver’s license. MUST be able to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Having a flexible schedule is a must. Duties may include: - Sales / Customer Service - Rental Deliveries - Cleaning Equipment & Shop - Restocking - Unloading Delivers - Must be able to lift 40lbs - General Shop Duties If interested, please follow these directions or you will not be considered. 1.
