Come join our community for our sixth annual Memorial Day Murph! CrossFit Westport, located at 19 Willard Road, Norwalk, CT is proud to host their Sixth Annual Memorial Day Murph - a CrossFit Hero Workout, benefitting Sierra Delta, a non-profit organization that empowers every Veteran with access to approved dog training that provides purpose, innovation and community through the love of dogs. Sierra Delta is a national leader for the education, advocacy, promotion and funding necessary to connect high quality service dogs to deserving veterans. The workout involves a one mile run, followed by 100 pull ups, 200 push-ups, and 300 air squats, before finishing with a second one mile run. The event will take place Saturday morning and will be open to all athletes, with MANY scaled options and team devisions for beginners or athletes not yet ready for the full measure of the challenge. Tickets for this years event are $30 with all proceeds going directly to Sierra Delta. Once you have registered, you will receive an email that will allow you to sign up for a heat as well as indicate the size and type of t-shirt that you would like.
