Job Description Auto Mechanic Light Duty / Apprentice Will assist lead mechanics with repairs and routine maintenance of customer vehicles. Required to keep the shop cleaned and organized, properly and safely disposing used fluids and oils, also storing core parts for recycling. Essential Job Functions Assist or perform alignments, full tire service, battery and minor electrical repairs, coolant and hose replacement, drive belt replacement and other mechanical work Keep work areas cleaned and organized, store old part cores for recycling Good attendance and punctuality is expected Qualifications Should have a minimum of 1 year working in an established automotive repair shop Must have his or her own set of tools Have a valid driver's license The Auto Mechanic Light Duty / Apprentice, is a full time position, hours of operations are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a m to 6:00 pm. Compensation depends on the experience and skills the candidate possesses. Company benefits begin after a year of employment. Benefits include: 1 week paid vacation, paid major holidays.
