Bassist and drummer (age 40-something) interested in collaborating with musicians with classic/indie/alt rock/new wave influences. Some artists we like: David Bowie, Gang of Four, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Pretenders, The Police, U2, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, St. Vincent, The Breeders, Bat for Lashes, The Cure, B52s, Bauhaus. Basically anybody a little bit dark, dissonant, vaguely menacing and glamorous. The drummer also loves metal and jazz, so if you're into that too, and don't mind slumming it... Right now, we're just looking to jam, write songs, butcher some covers, and possibly form a band if the chemistry is right. Best case scenario, we can put a set together and start playing live shows once the coast is clear. If you're just looking to get out of the house and jam, that's cool too. We have a practice space/home studio, so there's no monthly studio fees to worry about.
