LPX Fuel Space is launching a series with some of Chicago's most innovative Chefs. A limited amount of tickets will be available! lululemon Lincoln Park's Chef Series will feature a different Chicago based Chef every two weeks throughout Spring 2021. Each Chef will prepare a multi-course custom meal for takeaway. In addition to the meal, each kit will include a pass to take the featured Chef's favorite sweat class + a pass to lululemon Lincoln Park's Tune beds. All together now is a funky wine shop, all day eatery, and cheese counter in Chicago's Ukrainian Village. Erin Carlman Weber is the owner and a food and beverage industry veteran! Here's what she'll be serving up: A festive, ultra-springy assortment of my favorite artisan cheeses and meats, plus snacks, spreads, and sweets to round it out. Cheese board includes three cheeses, two meats (veg option: four cheeses), housemade pickled veggies, sweet treats, crackers, and crunchy stuff. Add a bottle of wine for an additional $25. Day Wines, Pinot Noir 'Lemonade' Chehalem Mountains (2020) - $25 When life hands you lemons, make Lemonade! We were contracted for 25 tons of Pinot noir from two vineyards in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, intended to be a red wine. When wildfires broke out near the vineyards we took a close look at our options. It was extremely important to keep our commitments to our growers - and these two organic sites held particular significance to me since they are owned and operated by single women like me (one who is also a single mom). Getting juice off the grape skins quickly can dramatically minimize smoke effect in wine, so instead of making a red Pinot noir from these sites, we very gently pressed the fruit, settled it many times, and fermented it in the fashion of a white wine off of the skins. Like the rest of 2020, we made the best of a difficult situation and thankfully, the results are delicious.
