Join us for a Cemetery Tour and Photography Opportunity during everyone's favorite season at the Broadway complex: Wildflower Season! We'll take photos of the beautiful wildflowers and statuary for a 1/2 hour learning special tricks to use for cemetery photography. Then we'll take an hour long tour to learn more about the history of the cemetery and those who rest there, while taking more photos! No fancy camera needed! Your cell phone will do a great job of capturing the flowers in the morning light. "Galveston's Broadway Cemeteries" ($22), "Ghosts of Galveston" ($20) and "History of the Hotel Galvez" ($22) books will be available for purchase and signing after the tour, or bring your own copy to be signed. Please note: Uneven walking paths. No video or audio recording allowed during the tour. Still photos are encouraged! Guide takes no responsibility for injuries incurred during tour. No restrooms on site. Tour will be given rain or shine except in the case of a severe thunderstorm.
