COMPANY OVERVIEW An industry leader, Montroy Supply Company is a wholesale distributor to the graphic communication markets including electrical (neon, LED and fluorescent) and digitally printed interior and exterior signage & graphics. With offices and warehouses in the Western US, Montroy Supply Company is the major market supplier and has a reputation of quality and excellent service. SUMMARY Immediate opening for an experienced professional Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker for our Sparks/Reno Branch Office who is a skilled driver and is familiar with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a team player with a can-do, positive attitude. Regular duties include pulling inventory, loading trucks and providing excellent customer service at each delivery location. Warehouse duties are assigned. DRIVER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: NO COMMERCIAL DRIVERS (i.e. Class "A" or Class "B") • Must be at least 22 years of age (for insurance purposes); • Full-time position, no nights / no weekends; • Company vehicle provided for deliveries; • Six months experience driving large vans, box trucks, and/or bobtails; • Pulling material, loading and unloading trucks, and load checks for accuracy; • Familiar with the Reno and surrounding area a plus; • Requires a standard driver's license with a clean driving record. MVR required; • Successful completion of drug screening and criminal background check; and • Other duties as assigned WAREHOUSE WORKER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Pulling and stocking material, cycle counts and warehouse cleaning/maintenance; • Ability to read invoices, measurements, work as a team and follow directions from management; • Forklift experience a plus; • Other duties as assigned ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (both positions, include): • Ability to lift 60 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and move a dolly loaded with up to 260 lbs.; • Ability to work in all weather conditions and stand for extended periods of time while performing physical labor. WORK ENVIRONMENT Candidates functions in a warehouse/office environment. While performing duties, our employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, saws, heavy equipment and outdoor and indoor weather conditions. EDUCATION AND/OTHER QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; • Punctual, reliable, accurate and detail oriented; and • Knowledge of signage goods, equipment and products (preferred) SUCCESSFUL COMPETENCY FACTORS Apply DMV laws/regulations, familiar with safety protocol, use of good judgment, problem solving, decision making, communication skills and ability to follow directions from managers. Professional and interpersonal skills are required to successfully work with various vendors and staff. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Must be organized, able to efficiently manage time, be productive and able to report daily activities. COMPENSATION / BENEFITS Hourly compensation depends on experience. Benefits available (after 90-day probationary period), including Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Insurances and 401(k).
