The future of music is in good hands here!"   –   Bluegrass, Folk, and Jazz mandolin master David Grisman Don't miss a special Umbriaso release party featuring national and state fiddle and mandolin champs Miles and Teo Quale (Crying Uncle). These young men bring their blazing bluegrass to our parklet for our first live entertainment of the year. Prepare for masterful, precision licks, tight interplay, and soulful vocals from these A-List artists. Miles and Teo will perform two sets.   Spruce chef extraordinaire Andrew Strautman will prepare a variety of fresh pizzas and salads with fine wines from Umbriaso: Umbriaso 2017 Benchmark Tuscan Blend - Ray Teldeschi’s Syrah supports the (Green Valley Solano) Sangiovese fruit with color, character, and Dry Creek terroir. Aged in neutral French Oak, with 1/4 of the Syrah in extractive French Oak. More body and complexity than a Chianti, the Sangiovese and Syrah combine to create an elegant table wine in a classic Super Tuscan style. Reprises the critically acclaimed 2016 vintage. “Umbriaso’s lightly-oaked ‘Super Tuscan’ blend of Sangiovese from Amador County and Syrah from Sonoma was impressively fresh and well-blended.” – SF Chronicle December 2018 Select Umbriaso wines also available including our fabulous early release 2020 Bianco Altopiano, a high elevation Sauvignon Blanc from the volcanic soil of the Mayacamas above Alexander Valley. Plenty of free parking! (SFMUNI #25 drops you off 1/2 block from this venue.) Seating is strictly limited. Ticket Price covers Quale Bros and Food but not wine, available by the glass and bottle. A portion of proceeds will be donated to AAPI support organizations to be announced at the event.
