Searching for local creative collaborators and intrepid explorers, including musicians, artists, songwriters, content creators and producers who have a passion for sonic, visual, literary/linguistic and performing arts, photography, video, written prose, poetry, storytelling, quantum physics and other transformational and transcendent endeavors. About You: A musician and/or vocalist and/or artist and/or writer and/or poet and/or muse and/or content creator should cover all bases. Female (preferred), male or other. I value relationship-centered collaboration over being strictly task/activity centered - so I'm looking for friends too. Age: I have deep appreciation and respect people between 30 and 70ish - since the synaptic wiring of your prefrontal cortex is richly layered and your spirit may possess the wisdom, wit, experience and emotional maturity that really blooms as we age - but I'm also open to any old soul 25+. I appreciate intelligence, curiosity, empathy, compassion, mindfulness, kindness, fearlessness, playfulness, inclusivity - especially if you don't take yourself, life and this CL post too seriously - and it's ideal if you live near the Carmel, Zionsville, Westfield, Fishers and north central indy region. About Me: A semi-retired, liberal, whimsical, creative professional. 65 cis man, married, stable, mindful zen-buddhist-leaning, iconoclastic, rational humanist-ish who just started to rehab my creative spirit after a long, decades-long spiral into a cold dark corporate vortex. The Music Piece: spans a range of genres and media formats based on our shared interests. Music listed in random order may include: jazz from mainstream, bebop, big-band swing, fusion, avant garde, electronica, new age & ambient, atmospheric, experimental, trance, folk, blues, americana, r&b, alt, indy. Any instruments and/pr vocal style. Skill levels: intermediate to advanced or aspiring with a intuitive understanding of music. Pursuits include just jamming, co-writing, as well as duo or small ensemble performances in small venues or open mics. The Arts/Multimedia and Performances projects can include the music piece - but may take a deeper dive into the co-creation of digital video and multi-media production and performances that may involve music, story-telling, poetry readings, and other performing arts - for online distribution, live streaming and live events. Gear and Tech: You bring whatever you have to the table - and just yourself will be enough. As for me: I'm currently leaning into digital and multi-media hardware/software, home and remotely connected studio production - using, ableton, cakewalk, protools, lots of plugins, MIDI controllers and analog synths, video editing and streaming and digital delivery platforms - plus a basement studio full of other acoustic and analog stuff such as guitars, bass, amps, drums/percussion, PAs, LCD projectors, as well as a few free post-pandemic public performance spaces in Carmel and Fishers.
