The award winning Sleep Inn, of Post Falls Idaho, is currently seeking motivated Front Desk and Housekeeping staff to join our team, as well as a Maintenance Worker! We prefer experience, but will gladly train the right applicants! We are looking for "team players" with good work ethic, an up-beat personality and service mindset. Responsibilities include: Front Desk: -Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests. Greet and check guests into and out of the hotel in a friendly, accurate, efficient and timely manner. -Manage and resolve all guest requests and/or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. -Maintain and manage guest accounts by posting charges and handling cash and credit card transactions. -Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff. -Ability to stand the entire shift, long hours sometimes required. -Ensure that laundry is getting washed and folded properly throughout the day. Qualifications: -Prior Hotel Front desk experience preferred, but not required -Ability to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, etc., -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities. -Reliable transportation. Housekeeper: The Housekeeper thoroughly cleans hotel guest rooms and/ or other assigned areas in a timely and organized manner to ensure guest satisfaction, hotel sanitation, and hotel appearance. Primary Responsibilities Cleans and services assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards. Reports necessary repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor. Responds to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner. Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards. Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day. Reports lost and found items according to protocol. Collects trash throughout the hotel including room attendants carts, vending and room service areas, and bathrooms. Dusts, cleans, and straightens furniture. Vacuums all areas according to a schedule or when needed. Qualifications Basic reading, writing and math skills, are preferred Required to work weekends and holidays. Will be required to work in fast paced environment. Will be required to work with common household chemicals. May be asked to work overtime. Must be legally able to work in the United States.
