This is a great opportunity to work for Edison Auto Service, one of the longest running automotive repair shops in Lee County. We are currently seeking ​a General Service Technician (with room for advancement) to become an integral part of our team!  Benefits: •Competitive compensation •5 days a week M-F 8-5 No weekends (weekends are for family time) •Paid vacation after 1st year •Paid for all major holiday's including Friday after Thanksgiving •Paid training to further certification for advancement •Uniforms and weekly laundry service paid for and provided •Fun and friendly working environment •All digital inspections using iPad tablets •Specialty tools provided Responsibilities: •Ability to lift 50lbs+ •Inspect and evaluate for general maintenance and necessary repairs •Perform routine vehicle repairs and maintenance such as oil changes, rotate and balancing tires, etc. •To have a positive attitude and be able to work as a team player ​Qualifications: •Knowledge of operating iPad tablets for digital inspections and desktop computers for fluid capacity specs, etc. •Basic mechanical aptitude and inspection skills •Deadline and detail-oriented •Must have own tools •Valid driver's license required Here at Edison Auto Service, we are family owned and operated, and have been in business for over 39 years!
